  • National Safety Day

The theme for 2023’s National Safety Day is ‘Our Aim - Zero Harm’.

Make a pledge towards safety at your workplace, at home or when you are out on roads.

  • Ramakrishna Jayanti

According to the Hindu calendar, Sri Ramakrishna's birth anniversary will fall on March 04 this year. Swami Vivekanand was a great disciple of Ramakrishna Paramhamsa. Share one of his teachings as they are relatable to the modern world and have a global presence.

  • Birth anniversary of Subroto Mukherjee

Known as the father of the Indian Air Force, Subroto Mukherjee has many firsts attached to his name. He was the first ‘Chief of Air Staff’ after India’s independence. He was the 1st Indian to command a flight, 1st Indian to become a squadron leader, to lead a RAF station and a Service. There is also an inter-school football cup named after him.

March 06, Monday

  • National Dentist day

Remember having dental checkups in school? As we grow up, we visit the dentists only when some tooth issue occurs.

On March 6, the National Dentist Day is dedicated to dentists for their contribution towards society in raising awareness about oral hygiene. Share posts guiding your audience about maintaining good oral habits. This not only includes brushing your teeth twice a day, but also regular dental checkups.


March is tax season. Remind your audience to gather and maintain all necessary documents and take steps to save tax before 31st March.

Holi- the festival of colours, can be used to promote your product or service along with festive greetings. It may sound cliche, but such posts, filled with the holiday spirit, attract more audiences.


You must have seen big brands running special marketing campaigns for Holi. And these are not just detergents or skincare brands.

Make sure the images you use for your Holi post are multi-coloured.

Write down a tip that has worked for you in your niche or share a useful technique with your audience and customers. Posts like these determine the transparency you keep with them.

March 08, Wednesday

  • International Women’s Day

Of course, women’s oppression and not having equal rights and status led to movements of change. Women demanded better pay, voting rights, education, better healthcare and more. Women started campaigning across the globe. Different countries began celebrating women’s day on different days. Later, an International Women’s Day on March 08 was agreed upon.


We now celebrate Women’s Day to honour the achievements of women around the world. On this day, spread knowledge about women’s equality in every field of life.

Observed on the second Wednesday of every March, the aim of No Smoking Day is to spread the consequences of smoking.

  • Barbie day

It’s Barbie doll’s birthday.

March 09, 1959, is Barbie’s birthday. The Barbie doll was launched in the toy industry on this day. In 2022, the Barbie brand made worldwide gross sales of USD 1.49 billion. Since the beginning, Barbie has been every child’s dream doll.


You can make use of Barbie’s popularity to boost your page.

Share a business tool that you use to improve your productivity.

It can be accountancy software, a grammar-correcting tool, an image editor, etc.


March 10, Friday

  • Death Anniversary of Savitribai Phule

Remembering the lady who took cow dung, eggs, tomatoes, stones, etc., thrown at her for teaching girls. March 10 marks the death anniversary of the first female teacher of India- Savitribai Phule.

  • Mario Day

The date March 10 can also be written as Mar10, which looks like Mario. And so March 10th is Mario Day, where the products of the entire Mario franchise are put up on sale.


In her book, ‘How to be a BAWSE’, Lilly Singh says, “Video games are a great analogy of life.” You can motivate your audience through Mario's example. “You go through levels, get thrown off by obstacles, and face several enemies. March 11, Saturday

  • WHO declared the Covid-19 pandemic

This day has come to be known as Covid-19 day. Educate your audience on staying healthy and hygienic.


March 12, Sunday

Talk to your audience about why you started what you are doing- your business, blog, social media channel, etc. They might know the ‘what’. Share your ‘why’.

  • Working Moms Day

There will definitely be a working mom around you, at your workplace or at home. Or is it you yourself? Share a daily obstacle she has to face.



March 13, Monday

Even posting daily on social media is a tedious task. Let alone be the business or blog you run.

However, you are here close to mid-month.

Share how you keep moving forward. Talk about the obstacles you face and yet are consistent in what you do.


March 14, Tuesday

  • Pi Day

Larry Shaw, who discovered Pi, and linked it with March 14, started celebrating Pi Day in 1988.

He just saw how the date 3/14 coincides with the value of Pi, i.e. 3.14. He planned a gathering of scientists, teachers and other Exploratorium museum staff. His motive was to cheer them up and brainstorm new ideas after its founder’s passing.

Pi Day gradually became an international celebration for fun, where people come together and enjoy pie.


Just as the value of Pi can go to infinity, celebrate endless opportunities in life, unlimited love and hope. And create your posts around this thought.

  • Birth Anniversary of Albert Einstein

Born in Germany, Albert Einstein was misinterpreted as a slow learner as an infant because he couldn't speak until he was almost three. Even his teachers in elementary school thought he was a silly student. When out on picnics with family and friends, they assumed Albert was not interested in anything because he kept staring into space.


A simple gift from his father made him curious about the world. This was a turning point for Albert Einstein.


Today we are grateful for what he discovered and invested.

  • International Day of Action of Rivers

There are over 400 rivers in India.

Ours is a country where rivers are worshipped as deities, yet they are the most polluted water body.


In 1998, 20 countries, including India, came together to spread the word about how important rivers are for our ecology. They decided to act against the degradation of water bodies.


On this day, spread awareness about the importance of flowing water and how rivers supply water all over the country.

The theme for Consumer Rights Day 2023 is “Empowering consumers through clean energy transitions”.

March 22, Wednesday

  • Gudi Padwa

This day is the beginning of a new year and new month Chaitra.

In Maharashtra, this first day of the year is celebrated as Gudi Padwa. In other parts of India people celebrate this day as Ugadi, Vishu, VarushaPirappu, Baisakhi, etc.


  • Bihar Day

In 1912, the Britishers mapped out Bhiar from Bengal to form a new state. This foundation day of the state is celebrated not only in Bihar, but also in many countries outside India.

  • World Water Day

  • World Metrological Day

  • Shaheed Diwas/ Martyr's Day

Shhaeed diwas is observed many times during the year. The one on March 23 is to pay tribute to Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar and Shivaram Rajguru.
